How long does downloading and updating RoM take?

Okay.. so first things first i have no idea if this thread would fit here.. But i think it does so im just wondering about how long will downloading/installing + fully updating RoM would normally take? Please could somone answer me i kinda hate waiting! :D

Yes, this is the right place, but the answer is "it depends". It took me almost 2 days to have everything downloaded and patched, it took other people 3 hours at about same time. Depends on speed of your internet and how loaded the server is, and if you are getting full or slim clients.

Please note that after your initial base download is done, you will start getting patches. It will look like the game is stuck, doing same thing over and over but it actually doesn't. The patch number will advance till your reach the current patch level.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

i downloaded the slim client which took about an hour to fully download and patch, and then the full client which took around 2 hours, so not very long at all :) people complaining about long download times need a better internet connection or something haha

Glad to hear you ahd very few problems downloading the game. Check out the rest of the forums on issues plaguing others before you actually start to play.
Choose your server wisely. Your playstyle should determine which server you choose. If you dislike PvP then you should pick a server that is PVE. But if you like PvP then choose a PvP server.

I would like to suggest the (US)Reni server then if you ahven't picked one yet. More of our community are getting together and actually halping each other out. But the choice is still gonna be yours so have fun and hope to see you ingame.

Or in the wrong place. Low lvl areas are always very lonely except for Varanas, which is still to big to have everyone on the same spot on the same channel. But yeah, Artemis is the most crowded server, yet again I bet there are more fun servers with better people out there. Numbers is not all that matters.

I dont think i was at the wrong place though i actually was at Varanas in the central plaza place thingy but there was only like 4people including myself >_<
