It wont let me play the game please help

Ive downloaded everything and got to the game and theres 2 loading bars . . 1 says download and the other says update and to the right it says start game . . . . the download for some reason finishes before the update and it doesnt download the update then it restarts both the download and the update and keeps repeating itself it wont stop downloading wat do i do?

Depending on which version of the client you downloaded it may take a while to get all the updates. Like Eld said it can take some time for it to complete so doing something else while RoM does its thing may be in your best interest (I play solitaire while waiting or check my e-mail). SO sit back and take a break from the computer for a bit.

The client type--Full or Slim--doesn't really matter. The number of updates that need to be applied is the same for both clients. Actual file size will probably be different, but not enough to make a significant difference.

The OP didn't report an error, just that, by his description, the patching process seemed to be working as it should.

In your case, check the game version number in the lower right corner of the game launcher window. The current (as of today) version is 4.0.8.2489en.

If your game is stuck at a version number well below that, it's safe to close the launcher and restart it, so it can continue patching.

Hey Kalvan I didn't mean the slim or full client just meant the version number. As you said the higher the version number the better chance of not waiting as long for the updates. I recently had to reinstall my version due to errors and bugs (had one the client from version 3. something still), so yes the newer the version the better it works.
