Scout/Warrior. mistake??

Hi,
Last night I chose Warrior as second class on my scout becouse it seemed good when I read the wiki about it a little bit, but now i can play it, it seems a pretty [expletive meaning 'bad' removed] combo, does anyone have advise or ways how to play it correctly, or should I just make a new character.....
thx for reading!

Its a pretty good PVP scout. Depends what you want to do. If you want to do PVP some good combos are S/W S/K and S/Wd. PVE Scout combos are S/R and S/Wd for higher dmg as far as I know.

But to answer your question, no its not a bad combo, there are just better ones for different situations. It's in no way the best at anything as far as Scout is concerned.

If youve been a scout/warrior for less than 24 hours, and you've already passed judgement on the class to be poor class combo, then I feel your future in this game to be a short one.

Do you even have all your elite skills yet?

Have you ever played a scout before and have a frame of reference to make this judgement on?

no I do not, but close range skills are not what I expected, as I read I would get temporary buffs and more max hp, cant find that anywhere in the secondairy class list thingy...
so I was kind of expecting a better PvE class, PvP aint that inportant for me, not in a long time at least, and this class did not give me the idea to be the class for that

Scout/warrior has 1, yes 1, close range skill.

You seem 100% green on the whole dual class system.

Give the class combo a week, learn the system of runes of magic and how the dual class elite system works... then pass judgement.

ok, ill do that then, let it sink in a bit and see how it turned out.
so thats closed, but then I still dont really know how I should use the whole thing, just like shoot the mobs till they come close and then use my soldier power or something like that?
and IF i dicide I still do not like it, is there any way to change my secondairy class, or do I have to make a new toon for that?

it's either at level 20/20 or 25/25 that you'll be able to select a 3rd class. If you don't like your first two, you can pick up a 3rd and try different variations of it... like w/ward, s/ward

Dual class system works as follows:

You choose a class as primary
Choose another as secondary
You will get new "elite" skills every 5 levels, starting at lvl 15 and ennding at lvl 50. What these skills do are unique to each class combo. Since you're a s/w...

http://www.theromwiki.com/Scout_Elite_Sk…out_.2F_Warrior

You will get those *new* skills. You need to complete certain objectives for *each* elite skill, and turn them in to an Elite Skill Trainer. Since ch4 came out, instead of taking forever to get your elite skills done, you can do it in 30min- an hour, maybe less. Provided you meet the level req. Hint: Heffner camp, pirates.

Every scout will stay ranged. Regardless of second class.

Hi there, I play Warrior/Scout. Been playing RoM for maybe a couple of weeks if that. At first I was not really feeling the whole scout thing but after a few days of playing it, I love it! A Scouts abilities are better from a distance but when you have to be up close, usually when you play alone, there are things like slash, whirlwind that help a lot for that and even joint blow. You have to remember to use rage. Not sure what level you are but I would give it to level 20 at least. I am very new to this whole thing and I love the up close part of being a warrior and I think the Warrior/Scout combo is pretty great. Not sure how long you have played but as you progress, you kinda just figure things out and by playing in a group, you will learn even more. Good Luck!

You do of course realize that the skills you're referring to are elite skills that you won't get until BOTH classes are 15/15,20/20,25/25,30/30,35/35,40/40,45/45,50/50 right? Even then you must do simple quests to get these skills.
What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about?

Or take his char to 20/20 and pick his 3rd class and act like picking the War never happened :)
