Screenshots are in .bmp format, by default. Load your screenie into an image editor and then File\Save As filename.jpg. After you've saved the screenie as a .jpg file, you can use the message editor to insert the image into the message text. (The editor won't accept .bmp files since they're too large.

Or, go to Photobucket or some other image-sharing site, upload the .jpg there, then copy the link for it into a message.

Timthum, I believe that's because the screenshots in your RoM folder are BMP format, and the forum accepts JPEG format. Run them through any photo editor (like MSO Picture Manager, Photoshop, GIMP, maybe even Paint), save them as JPEG, and you should be able to post them without a problem.
