How to deal with players ripping you off

I need to know what steps to take to deal with 1 player ripping off another one. Ive already gotten the whole "you shouldve got the money first" speech. Which yes is my fault. But this guy, who is named [player name redacted] by the way, has been running around bragging about how many ppl hes ripped off. So what do we do. How do we take care of ppl like this. Ive tried getting a hold of his guild leader (guild name redacted] is the guild) and i also have my leader involved. What else can i do. Can the player be banned?

Dont name people or guilds in the thread. Do make screenshots of every part of the transaction, so that if it goes bad, you have something to show. And, of course, if the perpetrator makes the statements that prove your case, screenshot them too. Then you will have enough evidence to file a ticket and get your losses reimbursed.
