Pet's harvesting items and skill levels

Hi, First, I did a search for pets, pets mining etc and I was not able to find a similar instance or advice on the matter.

Yesterday I had my pet mining and today, over 600 of the zinc he had mined is missing!!! I put in my bank box and it's gone. How is this possible? Also, a similar instance with the windmill. I had several damaged battle axes and had ZERO the following day. I am pretty upset because I purchased my little pets tools. Is this a bug? If so, what can be done. If not, how or why would they vanish.

Also, when we choose our production/crafting, how will this affect our pet? Will the pet still be able to harvest all three? I accepted the novice quest from Varanas for mining and my pet is skill level 8 for mining. Now in the drop down menu mining skill level 11 is red for him but mining skill level 14 is white? Makes absolutely no sense.

ok sometimes that happens that some pet production levels are white even though hes not that level ignore it its a glitch.
Just do the ones his level is capable of doing

your pet gathering has nothing to do with player gathering skills, you can have 3 on your char, and 40 on your pet.

you can level all 3 of your pet production skills

for your problem IDK what to say, do you have any addons that might of sold the items or deleted them by accident? just my guess but if you dont know what addons are then its a no, and there is another problem that idk about.

No, I don't have add ons. I guess back to the mining block for me :(. Kinda depressing. Do you by chance know how to talk to your pet? I have googled and searched but I don't see anything on how to reply to my pet when he talks to me. He's constantly jabbering but I never see options to reply to him. Thanks for taking your time to help me out. It's greatly appreciated.

The only way you can is when pet event happens. It happens very rarely and pet asks you question that gives minor bonuses. Most of the pet talk is just pet jabbering.

yup just as previous post said, when the pet whispers to you you will have options to talk back to him, it would be like a whisper from player though the whispered option will not disappear, but wait blinking on your screen (happened to me only 1 time that my pet actually did that), other than that your pet just makes random conversations such as "Master do you love me like i love you" and so on. those are just for fun and nothing else, other players see them too.

I have been waiting since the level cap increase to see pet crafting changes, but it still does not go above level 61 (thorn apple). Does anyone know if this will ever be increased?

I am sure that will happen as soon as they address the other obvious L60 issue - and that is being the craft mastery being limited to 1, which means that to make L60+ crafter, you need others to refine the mats. In other words, dont hold your breath.

Ok thanks; that's exactly what I was wondering. I guess its time to gear up my gathering alt for TB.
