Ragnarok player's question

Allright, I've always played Ragnarok over the years and this is my first time in this 3D kind of MMO, so here's a question:
Is there any NPC where I can sell stuff I gather but I don't want to? Any other way to make gold besides auction or quests?

There are very few items that cannot be sold to an NPC in the game. Most of them are quest related and will give a warning telling you the npc doesn't want it.

Thanks I think I'm getting the hang of it. Btw, where I can get a larger backpack or other chest storage to store a few other things I want to explore further? And how can I get a horse without renting for a limited time?

Ok in order to get a bigger backpack you have to rent the tabs that give more space. There have in teh past been scrolls that opened up the 3rd backpackslot perm but I keep missing the sales. Int eh Item shop are perm mounts but you ahve to use diamonds to buy them. Or you can pay someone for the diamonds then they will send you the mount. Not sure what server you decided to go to but on Reni the average price of diamonds hovers between 25 and 35k each. not cheap but acceptable rates.

About the backpack, how do I rent the tabs?

you can purchase rental scrolls in the ruby shop, or you can click the icon at the bottom of the tab with the 3 blue circles in it labeled "rental function"... that costs diamonds

Sorry, I'm still a noob. Until now I'm Rogue LVL12 and some Mage LVL 11, just played in Howling Mountain and a few places of Silverspring. I believe the role point will be resumed in how to aquire these marked in the SS bellow. Are they dropped, received by donnating, aquired with gold? How, where?

Let me do a little bump here. I still don't know how to get those above and I have another question. Those quest itens, as a begginer in this game and a Ragnarok player, I catch everything, but some of them like "suspicious letter" keep taking space, so the question is, those itens that you can't sell neither use recycle bin, how you get rid of them?

Backpack space and Bank space tickets are acquired through cash shop diamonds, rubies, or in game gold (from buying diamonds or rubies from other players)Example: If you see some one in world shout, "WTS Diamonds or WTS Rubies", they will be the ones to ask to buy cash shop items from. You see the small icon on the bottomg right of the SS? thats the cash shop window. Open that to see the items you can buy with diamonds or rubies. The items that seem bound, those may be items you need for a quest. If you want to get rid of them, ensure you completed to whole quest before you do try to delete them.

Still is not what I wanna know >.<
-Where does someone get diamonds or rubies in the first place, I mean not through other player but in the gameplay, are they bought with real money, with game's gold, crafted, dropped, digged, or whatever it is?

-when I first played the game, I caught a few stems from fungi, I didn't knew what they were for, but I never started any quest with them, so if I didn't started any quest and didn't find one or the ammount of itens are above quest requirements, how do I get rid of those?

Diamonds are the currency used in RoM's Item Shop, for most things. Normally, you would buy diamonds using our Recharge Diamonds link(s) on the main website page. They're bought using RL money, of course.

Others seem to have described the "gifting" system that is used between players to trade in-game gold for Item Shop things, or vice versa. Naturally, Frogster does not and cannot recommend using that system, since it can be dangerous to trade with people you don't know or are familiar with.

As for your other question above, there are items in-game known as "Daily Quest" items. You do not need to have taken a Daily Quest in order to find those items. You're welcome to keep or toss them, as you wish. You can use the Trashcan icon that's at the bottom of your Backpack (inventory)--open the Trashcan and right click on the items you wish to delete, then click on the Delete button, or you can drag them out of your inventory and drop them.

Most regular and Daily quest items are removed from your inventory when you turn in the quest. Some, unfortunately, are not, and have to be thrown away manually. And there are some quest items in the game which have an additional step in the deletion process. You'll probably run into a few of those. Fair warning, though: Most of the time, you can get away with abandoning a quest and picking it up again from the NPC where you got it in the first place. However, there are a few quests later in the game that can be permanently lost by abandoning the quest, or by deleting an associated quest item. This can ruin your character's progression through one or more chained quest lines. So, be careful.

Hope this helps.
