Is Rouge/Priest a good combo?

I'm level 13 on my rouge and 2 on my priest, and so far he is super fun and strong:D However, will R/P still be good at the end or should i swap my combo? I want to stick with rouge but I heard other forums tell me that the priest part kills the rouge because rouges use Dex as for priest that use int therefore killing magic damage. Thanks for any help :)

i don't know about rouge/priest, but rogue/priest is not a very good combo to dps.
rouge means lipstick, and it does not sound like a good combo :P

r/p does not have any spamable skill, well neither does r/s but energy thief is a substitute for it (with a fairly big CD.
priest side will not help you in endgame without healing equipment, and does not add to your overall dps either. if you wanna be useful, be a r/any phyisical dps, to have some backup skills when energy is over.

i've never actually played a r/p... but from what my friends tell me, it's an extremely fun class... apparently the two classes mesh very well together, and it's always nice to have a stealth-able healer for pvp battle grounds

the class is good for questing and getting through the game because you can kill but you also get access to the priest general tree which is very useful when you dont have imba gear

but when it comes to endgame you wont really do anything "good"

as dps you wont do much damage
as "offhealer" you wont heal much

but on the other hand

P/R is imo a quite good combo, you get alot of casting speed from elite skill, you can use wand in mainhand and healer hammer in offhand ( i think ) so you can stats your offhand and outheal lots of priests that uses wand+shield,

you have an elite skill buff that last for 15 min i think it is, that gives magical crit rate which is quite useful if you are in party with alot of mages,

your 50/50 elite skill gives 10% matt to the party which is also very good if you are in a party with alot of mages

ofc this topic wasnt about P/R combo

but yeah,

r/p quite good if you are getting started, and since you still have a 3rd class to pick up for "endgame" there shouldnt be much of a problem

Here is another way to look at it. Even if R/P isn't that good of a combo for end game you can still use it to your advantage. Having a healing class as your second makes leveling your character so much eaiser.

Therefore, lvl your P side to say 30 or 35 and use the 2 healing skills to lvl your R to 55 or 60. Then you can go pick your 3rd class (you can do this at 20/20) and you can then lvl that side also using your P to heal yourself along the way.

So for example if you pick Scout as your 3rd class you can go S/P and lvl the Scout. Then when you are say 60/60 R/S you should be able to run as that class and not need the healing as much.

This is how I am doing my M/Wd. I started as M/D and lvl'ed the mage to 60 and I am now doing the Wd/D getting it up. It is very fun to play because I don't need to rely on others to help me as much.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Hope it helps a little.
