Threads Topics Get Screwed

Just an observation, I'm sure many of you have seen and/or experienced your threads about something nice or interesting always ending up on one of two spots.

Threads topics, seemingly to me, always end up complaining about Frogster's mistakes with servers, Runewaker's mistakes with programming code and the diamond/item shop economy.

Now, that I brought that up. Watch this thread go way off topic, which is "Threads Topics Get Screwed" into the three obscured topics listed in the previous paragraph.

I would like to ask the community to try and focus more on the original thread topics and stop making the threads end up where they're not even supposed to go.

Can we do this?

Thanks!

:EDIT: FOR Example, http://forum.us.runesofmagic.com/showthread.php?t=69887 was a thread about how players feel about the nice pet package and there are there are now post in the thread for tech support.

Am I just blowing this out of proportion? Should I just shut up and let all these threads get way off topic? :END EDIT:

you're asking a bunch of kids with an attention span that prevents them from doing anything productive outside of a game to be independent and stop swarming other threads?

i've been on numerous of forums and have thousands of posts on each .. good luck with that.

Thanks, luck is what'll need. But, ya know like a wise man once said ...

You're doing it wrong... it goes something like this:

Well is it any wonder why threads get derailed so often if they even glean a hint of a topic that's so easily swayed in another direction? With the sales recently resembling that of a cash grab that would occur when a business is going under, why wouldn't people be constantly complaining? I mean who wants to spend 299 diamonds on an item they were purchasing for 49 diamonds just a couple months ago. It begins to resemble that of a crack dealer raising prices on vials of downgraded stuff to a head case that's already hooked.

Add that to the fact that every time a new patch or event comes out siege just crumbles into yet another broken feature of the game, and the rest of the event is spent with people complaining that it's broke, and wanting to know when it'll be fixed. That just opens the flood gates to discussions about stuff that was also broken in the past and how people are still feeling the lingering affects of froggy's/RW's inattentive nature when it comes to solving the issues in a timely manner. Then it's just a hop, skip and a jump away to the missing items and the poor compensation pack; and that just brings us back around to the original problem of spending money on a game that's broke and you can lose everything that you paid for without proper reciprocations.

Now we're just all sitting around, waiting for a good diamond sale and an xp/tp event that probably won't come cause everyone's been expecting it, and if something DOES come to pass, it'll be a shadow of what people were expecting, thus dumping yet another bout of depression on an already spread thin community that feels ignored, punctuated with "I'm Leaving" threads and more discussions about how siege can't even be fixed, why would anyone expect anything but incompetence? You got to question just who in their right minds would subjugate themselves to this kinda constant abuse on a daily basis...

.... derailed....

... back on track...

But starting a thread on derailing subjects, in it's very nature, is going to cause itself to be derailed, because that's the subject of the thread. It ends up covering such a broad spectrum of ideas that you yourself have already pointed out, and is thus doomed to begin with...

I am waiting for the trolls and teenaged, or almost teenaged players to see this. It will be fun to see them attempt and fail to get a point across with their limited mentality of reality.

to discuss the issues that you have addressed, we're bound to go off-topic
!!

edit: allow me to elaborate

MegaMouseSEC stated that the issue lies within the fact that the community has a limited mental capacity (restricted by their age); i rebutted by explaining (vaguely) that not all teenagers are retarded.

that is all.
