i have a problem updating too, but i think my problem might be different somewhat.
im stationed in afghanistan, but i play US version. when i update patches i update it through the US console, when i try to login it tells me wrong version...i change region to EU version let it load and close it, open it, change it to DE version, let it load and close it, open it, change it to US version, open and close it, open it in US version, it should work (sometimes) after a couple days of doing that, i have no problem letting it load US version and playing it.
