Barren Caves Dilemma

I can't find the Crystal Ore (with the Strange Substance ) Where is it????? I've looked all over. Into that weird place in the middle of the boxes, as well, with the sand worms. Nothing, so far. Does it exist?????

Are you going into Barren Caves area or Barren Caves instance. The ore is in instance
-- Rustyx --- 92R / 92S / 92M on Reni (Guild KnightShift). Yes, running the new FOTM R/M, cause I am not elf enough to be WD/S.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

At the back of the Cave (thru the instance portal), at the very end is a mini boss (forget its name, but you do get a title).
You will find the Crystal Ore behind him.
Side note: You might want to take a friend(s) with you if you are of the same level as quest. :)

the back of the instance? i think thats where an elite is right? past the ghost elite?...if you go inside barren caves, its kinda str8, and theres a openining where al the boxes are into an instance. dont go to the left to the point where you see a ghost elite, the opening to the instance is b4 that. on the right hand side walls.

Mini boss is Anglo and for new toons at that level that have 500-1K HP, he at his 32K can seem very huge. (and risky and deadly :))

As suggested take a friend(s) with you, at least one healer or many healing pots.

But if you decide to do it solo (like I did), then once you make it to the room, you have to engage his supporting army without agroing him and then move close to left side edge. You can get crystal without aggroing him, but I would suggest to use transport skill to get out of there back to Logar.
