Runes of Magic US / AU

Game - interesting, growing, many quests, a lot of customization (gear) and options (house keepers, pets, mounts, ...)

Never played WoW, but would suggest to try as many class combination as you like before finding one that fits you well.

Cons - we had bad start with Frogster EU and support is questionable. (will test it with my latest ticket )

also i'm not sure what class i should play, in wow i like hunters and mages, mymain for a long time was a pally but i didn't like him very much cuz of some of the updates and nerfs. anyone got suggestions?

playing wow, and switching here ur gona miss pvp games (ctf and such) theres only nightly siege game here (depending on ur time zone it might make u unable to play if you got work or stuff)

also hunter in wow is scout here and they're a very popular choice, even if not as main char but also as a secondary.
mage, well mages are mages even in antarctica. high damage-low defense

Pros and Cons I agree with RoMage.

Check out the class forums for help choosing different classes. Mages are pretty much the same in WoW, although Scouts do not have pets. If you want a WoW hunter, go Warden/Scout.

Knights use mana and mainly use 2-H weapons (EDIT: and sword/shield combo for tanking) although Knight/Rogue can dual-wield. They also can wear plate. They used to be the "pally" of RoM. If you want a strictly pally class, Knight/Priest is your choice because they can tank and they can heal themselves.

Warriors use rage and can pretty much use any weapon in the game (although it's better to use swords and axes). They can wear plate if they go Warrior/Knight and they have more AoEs than Warriors. Currently, Warrior/Knight and Warden/Warrior (who can also wear plate) are the tanking classes.

First off, the RoM Druid is totally different than the WoW Druid. They're more of a healing class and they don't get shapeshifting skills.

Druids are healers and Wardens are tank/dps (depending on what class you have for a secondary). Druids have nature-based heals and Wardens are the only summoner class in the game. They have more ranger-type pets in which you can command them to attack for you.
