Tatasha's Fortune

I hate items taking up pack space and it seems so many quests do exactly that. Now I have 4 of these things sitting in my pack and I'm not sure if I should delete them or not. I searched around the various data bases (http://www.theromwiki.com/Runes_of_Magic_Wiki and http://www.runesdatabase.com/search?q=tatasha#items to name two) and can't find any hints or clues as to whether or not I'll need these things in the future.

If I don't, why weren't they cleaned up upon quest completion? If they are needed, why isn't there something letting me know?

Any of you smart people have any ideas? Thanks much.

Unfortunatelly if you didn't find any google hint about the quest is a big risk. There are some quests, like one of Golem in Tagena, that you receive 2 itens, meaning 2 slots less in your BP. Finish the quest is piece of cake, but find the golem to finish it is another story. I waited for almost 2 weeks passing near the shrine every day, so I gave up the quest and got rid of the itens. Yesterday I was passing through the shrine and then golem were there sitting duck, I picked up the quest again, received the itens and finished. But there's this guy on the other thread that is having a little problem, he gave up of some quest and seem not able to get the necessary item again. So the suggestion is, in doubt keep them, or try a little harder in your google research.

I can't find a quest for them to give up in my quest tracker either. Should have mentioned this. I THINK the quest chain is over, but it is hard to tell. I have another character where I did delete an item and now I can not get it back and support isn't (e.g. non-support), all they told me to do is to go back and talk to an NPC who won't talk to me. However, that is another story.

Thanks for your input Murkalael.

You can get rid of them. Certain quest items don't delete when you turn in the quest; if you've done all four parts, you no longer need these. It's irritating, for sure. I remember holding onto these for a few weeks back when I started, until I realized there weren't any more quests for it.

As for deleting quest items yourself -- if it's an item that you find out you do need for a quest, abandon the quest and re-take it. This works for a lot of quests, but on certain ones that are in the long chains (i.e. From Thunderhoof onward), it can get screwed up if you abandon a quest...in which case, support should fix it for you, but from what I hear, support doesn't do a whole lot these days. For most lower level quests, however, abandoning and re-taking it should work.

@ Murkalael - Your problem isn't remotely similar to the one the OP has. People kill the golem sometimes for TP -- that's why it can be hard to find.

You're right, my problem isn't anywhere near his problem, but I was just comparing, I getting rid of some itens and another player ( I didn't picked the name), that is unable to continue some quest due missing item.

Thank you both for your input into this. It is pretty bad when the community gives better, more accurate answers to questions than support. Take care.
