Arena Points

i have been looking and cant find info anywhere ,how do you get arena points and what are they used for?

If you mean honor points, you get them from siege and the battlegrounds, right click the crossed swords on your minimap to access battlegrounds. If you mean something different... I dont know. lol

For what is that you can use this stuff to buy recipes, materials for guild, materials, gear, capes, and other stuff. Honor gear is preeety pricey and saving up takes a long time as you get 6 honor (not sure) from standing in siege and a lot of gear and so is 6-20k honor points. You can find them in merc square in OStronghold

I don't think that the OP is asking about Honor Points. If you go to your part of the character screen where you see your honor points, below that there is a thing called Arena Points. I personally have never gotten a single Arena Point and am thinking maybe it is just a random forgotten part of the game that was never implemented... like Guns.

Maybe it's from the Arena Obby Stronghold Mercenay Square? hence "Arena" points.

Well this is going back some, but afaik it was intended as a reward for success in the Arena, scores would be tracked during the week and the highest ranked players would be awarded with Arena points. I started back in late '09 and have never seen it in action so either it was before my time or one of those things never fully implemented...
