Runes of Magic Browser version :o

Ok, so April 24th out came the browser-based version of RoM for EU which leads me to two questions mainly for a moderator or a player who knows for sure...

1) Is the department currently working on a browser-based version for US as well or is this whole thing like EU-exclusive only?

2) If / When the browser version does come out for the US, do we log in with our e-mail / pw from the forums? Basically, what I am asking is, what e-mail / pw are they talking about?

The browser RoM uses the email address associated with your game account & the password from your game account.

We already have a thread about this which you clearly know about since you posted in it, so I'm not sure why you made another one. Your question has already been answered by Dionaea.

Is the browser version separate from RoM Classic? As in, is it its own separate game or do can we use our accounts on the downloaded client on the browser as well?

I tested this when I joined that Darkpopulous commentator on Ilistr (however you spell it). I'm pretty sure from my recollection that the "classic" version is the same thing just served on a different platter

I have my own question. Will addon makers have to mod their addons to work on browsers? or will addons be client-exclusive?

Alright, thanks for clearing up my main concern. I really... really look forward to playing the browser version. I only have a desktop and macair and if I can play RoM portably, that would be phenomenal.

Addons have always worked in the Browser version - they just have to be put in the right folder for the Kalydo plug-in to find them for the game.

I just found out today that....

Browser version only works for Windows xD
It worked on my desktop but won't for MacAir. Very depressing... seems like I won't be able to play a "portable RoM" after all.
