rom addons?

Hello. I was wondering if add ons were allowed in rom. Well if any have even been made. Also by add ons I am talking about stuff similar to deadly boss mods, atlas loot, etc from mmos like wow and a few others.

I guess forum called "Interface, Addons and Macros" did not provide answer to that, eh? :p

Now, finding addons is not as simple as that. Curse is always good to check, but a lot of good addons have not been changed in a while, so curse archived them and they are not visible there. Curseforge is a secondary place once you know what addon you want and what curse has oh-so-inconveniently made non-searchable.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

A lot of the addon makers have abbandoned RoM. Some went to other games and some got tired of the constant updates that always break the addons. Always be careful when and if you find one that you like. Always use addons from trusted sources (the interface and addon section ahs a list of safe ones). Never use an addon froma source you know nothing about.
Also NEVER give anyone or any addon your login info at all. Frogster also will NEVER ask for it by E-Mail, ingame, or any other way.

thanks. now one final question. how the heck to I set them up to be used in game?

I know in wow that you just went to c: > program files > world of warcraft > interface > then finally addons, and extracted the add on you wanted to use into the said folder.

Also Vfwiffo, it was late at night, I was tired, and I didn't see that board until just recently. :P

It works precisely the same way. Create an Addons folder inside the Interface folder, then extract the addon(s) into it. Or, download the Curse Client and have it download and install addons from Curse itself. (The client won't work with addons at Curseforge.)
