Will blue 72 items be T5?

I can't seem to find any of the old posts that talk about about how many levels the different rarity items gain when creating dirty tier stones.

For white items:
  • Tier 1 = 1-20
  • Tier 2 = 21-40
  • Tier 3 = 41-60
  • Tier 4 = 61-80*
  • Tier 5 = 81*-100*


Green items are act like white-3 so the ranges are 1-17; 18-37; 38-57; 58-77*; 78*-97*.
Blue items act as white-7 so 1-13; 14-33; 34-53; 54-73*; 74*-93*.
Purple items act as white-13 so 1-7; 8-27; 28-47; 48-67; 68-87*.

*Since level cap is 70, these items are unavailable to confirm this data.

Crafted items are an exception to this scheme. For example, a purple crafted item that came from a green recipe will act like the green item from the recipe.

Game mechanics are generally never confirmed or denied. While Inferiority's summation is pretty much the best info we have, there are some exceptions I believe and I don't believe that anyone knows accurately why.

Though to quibble I would have said that purple items were 12 levels below white, not 13, following the possible pattern noticed by nem being green 3, blue 3+4, purple 3+4+5, so brown and orange would be 3+4+5+6(and +7). It depends though on which items you take as exceptions and which conforming to the rule I think. I dunno if anyone has every tested with those rarities (or even if those rarities exist as base items).

Time to go to Paspers to confirm the 13 level difference... I was pretty sure that Paspers Shrine items came out as T3 not T4 though...

Level 48 items from Pasper's Shrine come out as T4, just as a level 61 white item
would & 61 - 48 = 13.

I seem to remember though that there are either a few bad memories or there are inconsistencies about where the purple t3/t4 divide is per item.

Ok, I was wrong paspers only drops level 45 stuff(Which is t3), I guess the only way to prove/disproove is to farm FA for a level 29 purple axe..

Either way I'm not sure where/who you got your numbers from, I always assumed that it was 10 levels below.

Seriously, the stuff around level 50 is correct but I haven't found any lower level stuff that doesn't work to the splits I have posted.
