They didn't eat their vegetables. Its not really a question someone could answer without a doubt without talking to the devs.

It IS annoying though to have to bring the thing back

Because the fairies aren't supposed to fight.. they're there to give you buffs. You put the thing on "Conceal" and it'll never get hit anyway.

Most of the time they won't get hit with conceal on. but some AOEs still hit them. Mine dies roughly half the time in grafu, if she doesn't die at first boss, I often have to throw a regen on her.

well maybe but they get 1 shot in highn lvl zones this should be scaled for lvl.

If you have conceal on they won't get hit by anything. The Priest fairies aren't meant to be like the Warden pets.. they're just meant for buffs. Not damage.

If they haven't fixed the bug with conceal toggling off sometimes, then they do die every now and then due to them taking their shields off. If they have...forgive me, haven't played in a long time.

I do remember how irritating it was having to re-summon fairies because they'd felt the need to kamikaze during bosses.

Wish I could say that, The only thing ever toggled on my fairy is follow, and they don't even do that very well. In siege, if I have to run from one tower to the next, by the time my fairy catches up the battle's over.
Commonly heard in siege there's a priest with invis in center, I see a fairy wandering around' Oh, that may be mine, I ran through there a few minutes ago....
The fairies are fun though, fairy duels, and with heals they can (slowly) take out a lot of mobs
