More Noob Gameplat Questions

1) In the character window on left where it lists attributes ... what does yellow indicate. For example a yellow range attack number of 183? I have a number of these yellow markings for various attributes. Is this perhaps an indicator that it can be trained to a higher number?

2) Does my tombstone have any meaning/value? I went to exact coords shown on map and no visible "tombstone" on the terrain and nothing to collect indicated.

3) What level or skill is needed to kill Phant the Kobolb boss. I am L12 scout but can only get his health down to 97%, lol. If quest are linear, then this is one I should be doing as its only quest left through Roses Caravan.

4) Lastly, in game do most players have whisper and zone messages turned off?

Again thanks for all kind replies

1) Its just yellow nothing special, when it turns red though it means something is wrong with ya armor and you need to repair it.

2) When you go back to your tombstone you can click on it and it gives you I think 30%? off your experience/talent point debt that you obtain after dying. In this game priests and druids can also resurrect you using some skills that they have, these skills rez you to where the healer is standing and clears some death debt based on which rez skill they choose to rez you with. Keep in mind that for the higher rez skills it costs the healer a special type of item (Amulet of Life and Golden Amulet) except normal resurrection which takes away 30% like the tombstone and just takes away the need to run back to the tombstone. Priests have a nifty skill that allows them to place a buff on themselves or others that lets the person buff, self rez once (the skill can only be casted once every half hour).
Sometimes the tombstone disappears I don't know the reason for this probably a bug

3) Just skip it

4) You can change it so you can turn them off, but not many do, almost no one does unless they want to be alone. Sometimes usually in my case when people whisper me I'm doing something time sensitive. Sometimes it just that people don't want to talk to a low level player

I gots soccer soon so I won't be able to answer your questions until like 2 hours from now

3 - Phant is a boss and is not meant to be tackled alone. Try asking for help in the Zone chat.

As far as your character stats go if I am not mistaken they go with these colors:
Green: that is your base stat and is the normal color.
Yellow: Means that your stats are higher by a certian percentage of your base stats. Most players are in the yellow.
Red: If your stats are red you have either hit the soft cap for said stat or are above the soft cap.

Depending on your class your stats could be any combo of these colors. Your stats are based off your level and what your armor gives you. By adding stats to your armor through the arcane transmuter and using mana stones you can greatly increase your stats. I will not go into depth on how to use the arcane transmuter seeing as there are many posts on just that subject.

Mega, that is incorrect. Your stats in your character sheet will only go red if you have a piece of gear on with a negative bonus like the 7 piece Eye of Wisdom set which has -7% strength for example. Very few (possibly only the level 50ish 7 piece sets) have these negative set bonuses, so almost no one will ever see a red number on their character sheet.

The soft cap number is not available in game, it has to be tested by players to be ascertained.

I have no idea what it means, but in Fans defense he did not say broken armor.
