mining issues

I really want to mine and do all these awesome skills, but whenever i try to mine nothing happens. You can look at me like an idiot but i keep clicking on an ore and left clicking and everything. BUT all i do is walk up to it. :mad::mad::mad: please help!

You need to learn the mining skill first Jacksonion. Go to the starter zone that's most convenient for you (Logar, Elven Island or Heffner Camp) and talk to the mining instructor. He will teach you the skill, and you will be able to mine Zinc Ore, and as you mine it, you will be leveling the skill, and eventually be able to mine higher level ores like Tin.

Are you sure you picked up mining?? If you have then it might mean a bugged character. One way that has worked to kill the character bug for many problems is to delete your character data from the hidden RoM folder in the Documents folder.
