Please be more specific. It won't patch automatically? Checked firewall? Are you using shared internet? Connection speed? In some CPUs it may seem patch is frozen, but you might be have processing problems. Suggestion:
1-check internet firewall if there's some
2-check your permissions. By default client will install in program files folder wich in some OSs is a protected folder, I usually have a folder I created in root called games to avoid this kind of problems.
3-if none of these above apply, please post your pc config and internet connection
