Old Timer Coming Back and a few questions

Hello, just to introduce myself I used to play religiously until my computer crashed on me and i havent played it yet again. I used to play Rogue/Scout, but that was right before the 3rd class combo and i never picked a 3rd class. After sifting through the forums while waiting on download I'm thinking about joining a different server than what i used to play on and wondering if their are any benefits to joining particular servers and the guilds there to look at.

Next I'd like to ask about these new classes. Are they worth playing?

As a player of RoM i guess i'd be called an altaholic. I never really settled in on a class and whenever i try to get help from someone they say you wont know till you try them all out. Lately i've been interested in a w/m combo, but i love my rogue side to much to switch....Hide is like so amazing imo....so back to my questions what are the pros and cons of playing m/w/r combos compared to that of r/s/p combos...also always wanted to try out p/s lol

And finally gearing those combo's listed above what would gearing those combos look like. Would i be able to wear same gear on m/w as w/r and such? How cost effective would it be for the combos.

All of those are great questions.
I guess it will all depend on what you like in a server and a Guild and what you want to get out of it.
Palenque is eclectic in the multi-cultural aspects.
With the next level opening soon to a PC near you,. maybe hold off on classes?
Gearing with the next class is simply a choice on your part.
keep in touch and let me know how it works out for you.

I will agree with Edel. The server you want should be totaly up too you. Look throught the forums and see which ones sem to be the most active here (a possibility of Reni) and then decide. As far as classes go even I ahven't taken a third one because I believe doing so will contaminate my character. 2 classes is more than enough but with a third there is no real benefit.
I do not think that Frogster intended for the third class to be a replacement for making another character but atm that is how it looks most players are using it.

Well i guess i'm looking for a great guild that is very social as well as helpful with getting the gear from the higher instances and i'm looking for a server that has people on it but isn't over populated with to many people. Siege war is nice also lol one reason i just can't get away from this game. Still doing research on the combo i want though lol and also trying to get more info on the champion and warlock combos ;) I'll keep yall updated on how it's going and such.

Almost forgot when i stopped playing the game the economy was horrible like peices of gear costing too much for what they were really worth because dias were like through the roof to buy with in-game currency. What server probably has the best economy?

If youare looking for a server that is not too full and not abbandoned maybe Reni might fit the bill. There is still a fairly decent pop here and several good very helpful guilds. Just a suggestion.

Not cost effective at all. You'll need two completely different sets for M/W (which uses cloth) and W/R (which uses chain). They also use completely different stats, as they are different classes altogether. Even W/M will be statted/geared very differently from W/R, as W/M is more of a magic user than a typical warrior.

Statting up one set is very expensive if you're using RL money (and very time consuming if you aren't). Statting two sets is something a lot of people don't do, simply because of the cost. Three sets...don't bother considering it.

Well then what would be easy and cheap to stat and gear up compared to others? I know that knights are the most expensive to stat. I don't relaly have any beef with many combos so what would you suggest i do for cost efficiency and fun? Like i said i enjoy a plethora of combos so any combo will do for me:) oh do m/k have light attacks so is there a light resistance? i saw a m/k solo a guild in sw and it was like a lvl 67/67 m/k fully geared using some type of light spells.
