Experience after level 70

Does anyone know if doing dailies on a 70 earns you experience in any way?

I've done dailies on my 70 and I saw that I didn't gain any XP but I my "furniture xp/tp bonus" arrow thingy was moving to the right... I was wondering if by doing more dailies on my 70, will the arrow continue moving to the right?

And does the arrow moving to the right mean that I am "technically" gaining xp at level 70?

Hello L3g3nd,

I am not entirely sure what your last question ... is asking for ...

Once you hit the level cap, you no longer gain XP per say. You do gain XP if you have an experience amulet on that you need to fill up. However, Furniture XP & TP Bonus does not contribute to XP/TP gained from quests.

Nothing should change if you are doing dailies (to your furniture XP/TP bonus).

Ok then my question is why is my furniture xp bonus at over 9 million. It makes me very confused. What does that even mean?

PS: Also, I apparently did again XP after 70 because I have 152k on my 70 Scout side and 1.5mil on 70 Rogue side. 'o.0

Furniture XP/TP bonus is applied to the XP/TP formula when you kill a mob. (Best achieved when grinding)

In other words, for 9,000,000 XP points... you will get "double XP bonus".

Once you gain 18,000,000 XP, you will not only get regular XP.

If you have 152k XP past level 70 on your Scout Side, that would mean the last quest you have done on your Scout to get to level 70 had a surplus of 152k XP.

The same thing applies to your Rogue. You did a quest which gave you a surplus of 1.5m XP.

Alright, the whole surplus thing makes sense because today I just dinged my Scout from 69-70 with TB quests that gave 1.7mil xp (I think cause of the XP bonus event).

But I'm still a bit confused on how my 9 million XP points means double xp...

Your furniture xp/tp will continue to build up even after you hit the lv cap. That bonus is applied when you kill a mob, doubling the xp/tp you would normally get.

Since ur lv70, you no longer get xp from killing mobs, so 0x2=0 and you don't use up any furniture bonus. On the plus side, you'll have a lot of bonus xp stored up to use for when the lv cap raises again

Not true - you still gain the XP and so furniture bonus will be used up, but since you are at level cap, this XP gain isn't added to your XP bar.

Not sure if that's right, my bonus keeps climbing faster than it ever did before I reached level cap, and I am actually killing far more mobs lately than ever before

Prior to the Forum rebuild, there was an excellent thread that actually explained House Bonus (referrred to as HB from here on) . We all know what happened to those threads.

I'll see if I can explain it. When you kill a mob you get an additional 50% xp/tp from HB if you have a bonus built up. I don't care what anyone else says, I have never gotten more then 50% additional. Others will say they get double, I've never seen it. If you're supposed to get double then I need to open a ticket because I only get 50%.

As far as the arrows moving, you can only accumulate XP HB up to the amount of XP needed to get to the next level. So at lvl 70 right now you can no longer accumulate XP HB because you are at max lvl.

The arrows move because as you lvl the amount of XP needed to lvl goes down, so the amount of bonus you can collect is less. And yes at 70 you do get XP its just not collected sot the XP you have built is being used even though you're not getting it. Hopefully I explained it for you.

Completely OT, can we please get 3x's TP on quests when there's a 2x EXP on quests. Thanks
What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about?

Ok thanks guys that clarified things up a bit. Pretty much my HB arrow thing moving has nothing to do with the amount of experience I have. =(
