How to send pet to battle

Hello
Do actually these pets do any combat since i have a lvl 16 pet i hatched from a Rune Pet Egg and it never seemed to do any attacks, it has a fireball attack but it isnt using it and theres no action bar for the pet that shows up. Please help me how do i send my beloved pet into battle for gods sake:mad:

You have to feed your pet the right food to get it's Loyalty above 60 at a minimum before it'll have a chance of fighting with you. The closer to a 100 loyalty it is, the better the chance your pet will join you in glorious combat.

The pets are mainly for stats and the passive buffs. If anything, you don't want them to battle as they can pull undesirable things in an instance and end up doing nearly 0 damage anyway.

You can't make them kill on command, like Lord Kaedric said, they fight when they feel like it, and they feel like it more when their loyalty is over 60. Plus like Quaffy said, they don't really do any damage anyway. They're there to give you lovely passive buffs.
