Hey there
As you all know good gear comes mostly from quests and drops (rarely shops and maybe crafting) and my question will be a bit weird since you think the answer is right above but I want to know what to get my scout lvl 26, I do my quests at Heffner now and I'm getting all chain armor for my primary (warrior 26) and the secondary has to depend on drops and stuff but I want to have full blue armor for my scout and what is an easy and simple method of getting good (blue for now) gear for my secondary (scout).
Aside from your initial self-answers and what Inferiority told you, there are several ways to get gear for your secondary class.
Auction House--While gear that's at or very near your secondary's current level might be a bit hard to find, do a search that's within 5 levels below the current level. The Advanced Auction House addon (
http://www.curse.com/search?search=Advanced+AuctionHouse), if you don't already have it installed, can be extremely helpful when searching for specific weapons, armor, and accessories. If you use the AH to find gear pieces, try to find naturally OD (overdurability) items. If you're interested in "dirty statting" some of your early gear, look for gear that is not just OD, but also "clean"--that has no named stats already on the piece. Statting gear is a completely different subject and is covered in other threads. Take a look in the Community Guides area.
Player trades--Your server should have some sort of Trade channel. Ask around for the *exact* name of the channel and join it. Most of what you'll see "advertised" you won't be able to use--yet. But every so often, someone, will offer a gear piece that's at or close to your level.
Guildies--Depending on your level, you may have guildies who have older gear and are willing to give or sell it to you.
Quest gear--As you progress through the game, and especially in CoO/Xaviera, you'll find quest gear sets. Each set will be available as cloth, leather, chain, or plate. So, if you want to use these sets for your secondary (Scout) class, you will need to remember to take the leather quest rewards instead of the chain rewards.
Minigames--It's probably a bit early for you to be very successful in the four minigames, but at least two of them (Malatina's Survival Game, in Varanas and the Goblin Games, in Silverfall) offer chances of getting armor set drops for all four types of armor. It can take an agonizingly long time to acquire them, and the pieces are in the 43-47 level range. But by that time, you should be able to use them.
And finally, once you hit level 50--on either class--you should have already chosen a good guild that will be willing to shepherd you through instances such as Heart of the Ocean and above, where you'll start finding and getting much better purple (rare) armor and weapons.
