Hi Folks,
First of all, is there a web page or something that explains the complete user interface, with pictures for clickable, and a full list of keyboard shortcuts? Also, since I get the impression the keyboard shortcuts are modifiable, is there any explanation of how to configure them? That _might_ spare you some of my questions, if it's complete enough.
Now for my current set of detailed questions:
1) I believe there's a way to get my character to move continuously in whatever direction he is facing, possibly changing that direction as I go - without needing to constantly hold down a movement key. How do I start this, and how do I stop it?
2) I can usually make my character move automatically by clicking on NPC etc names in quest descriptions (brought up with the L key). Is there any way to get the same effect for NPCs not mentioned in any quest currently assigned to me?
3) I can get a coloured arrow onto my screen, pointing in the direction of a given NPC/mob. The method I've found for doing this is very clumsy.
a) bring up quests with 'L'
b) click "quest receiver's position".
c) This gives me a pop-up labelled "world search", which is wider than my gaming window, so part is always cut off.
d) Type in the name I want, or a substring. It's case sensitive - "Board" will get me many daily quests boards; "board" gets me nothing.
e) select the match I want, and then click "follow"
- Is there a way to get this "world search" screen up without stages a + b?
- Is there any way to fix the relative sizes so this pop-up screen fits in my gaming window?
4) People frequently post requests to sell which contain a clickable link - click on it and see the items description/stats. Some of the links in quest descriptions behave the same way. How do I do the same thing - i.e. say something with a link to an object embedded in it?
5) 90% of the time, when I finish a quest and am immediately offered another one in the same screen, and try to accept it, the accept doesn't take, and I have to reclick on the NPC, get offered that quest, and then accept it. What am I doing wrong?
6) People talk about command rotations and command chains. I've figured out that I can drag actions into the bottom row of squares at the middle of my screen, and execute them by pressing the corresponding number key, from 1-0. What about the second row? And what about the squares beyond zero?
Is there some way I can execute a sequence of moves, other than typing 1 2 3 (with pauses as I see buttons go strange-looking)?
By the time I get to a decent level, I'll have more moves available than squares in this grid - are there other ways to associate a move with a keyboard shortcut? What about sequences of moves ("renew all my buffs" comes to mind as one possibility)?
7) Specifically for wardens - it seems like every time I kill something, and try to loot it, my "spirit of the oak" is standing right on top of it, and I have to turn the screen to loot. Is there any way to avoid this?

What user interface question does every newb with my level of knowledge eventually need answered, that I haven't known enough to ask? ;-)
Thanks in advance for any light you can throw on these mysteries.
