What should I spend my honor points on?

I know in the Mercenary Square there're:

1) Recipes - I already have most of them
2) 55 Gear - Level is too low and most of them are useless any was at 70
3) Materials - Overpriced if you ask me
4) 7-day mounts - Yea... no. I already have a rune disc

Is there any stuff out there worthwhile to spend honor points on?

Yeah, the only useful thing is mats, so overpriced or not, that is the thing to buy.

Materials and repair hammers. Materials so you never have to buy potions again. No reason to buy stacks of hero pots, unicorns, stims, crit pots, etc. when you can just use honor points to get them.

used to be a guy on my server who was a ex guildie who would give good chunk of gold for the mats to make hero pots as well as mailin me a few stacks. made millions of gold that way.

Well for one stack of hero pots I'd need 108k gold just to buy the mats. A stack of hero pots in AH is 216k. So it pretty cuts the price in half.

108k + 1,600 honor points = Enough for 30 hero potions

Which means 1,600 honor points saves about 108k gold.

I have about 98,000 honor points right now and that'll get me enough "main mats" for 61.25 stacks of hero potions.

In total it will save me 6,615,000 gold. Took me like ~4 months to save up this amount so the value is very meh.

Anyone know if new gear will ever be released because I just checked the "battlefield" gear and they're level 50 and there're also level 55 epic gear.

Hopefully with chapter V they will add 72/75 honor points gear because yea it's true I have nothing better to spend them on but I just don't want to dump 98k honor points only to find out they're releasing new HP stuff in the future.
