Can my computer handle RoM?

Intel Pentium 4 3.00GHz CPU and 1.99 GBs or RAM.

It should, your video card though is the most important part. If you feel your computer might not be the best for games you can download the slim version.

The CPU and RAM are adequate, though I would advise against high or maximum settings, and you may experience some lag in busy areas.

A full DXdiag would be helpful though, as you haven't yet provided any info on your graphics card.

http://forum.us.runesofmagic.com/showthread.php?t=68841 if you would like more info on a DXdiag.

Memory is a bit low but fine.

Playing games on the build-in graphics card? Not a good idea. The cheapest entry level modern card will run circles around built-in chipset. Heck, a card I got 1.5 years ago for $5 is 3 times as fast.

Will the game run? Sure, it would; but getting a new card, even entry level, would make it a much less frustrating experience.

Sure... depends on budget. There are good cards in all price ranges. Checking deal sites, I see cards like 5450 or 210 available for $15-$20. I would not go lower than that.

I would tend to agree with both Nytefall and 'wiffo, but would like to add a couple of comments and clarifications.

You have a relatively old Dell business computer. The integrated Intel video chipset is only barely passable for playing RoM. In addition to this, and while your computer does have a PCIe X16 video expansion slot, it's stuck at PCIe 1.0. Most modern PCIe video cards are at version standard 2.0 these days, but some of the less-powerful (and power-hungry) cards are backwards compatible with version standard 1.0. So you may be able to find a dedicated video card for your computer. If you do go looking for one, consider talking to a professional installer first.

The amount of system RAM that's currently installed in your computer should be sufficient to run our game, but I'd tend to recommend not running other applications, even minimized, in the background. Your computer uses PC4200 533Mhz SDRAM modules, and will address up to a total of 4GB, using 4 connectors on the system board. I do not know the configuration that's currently in your machine, so if you decide to expand your system RAM to 4GB, it would be best to search for and purchase a pair of 2GB (2 x 1GB SDRAM modules) memory kits. The best places to look for and buy those are online, at sellers such as NewEgg.

Hope this helps.
