How can I fix this issue with my game?

About two months ago I updated RoM and played it for a few hours then quit for the night the next day when I tried to log in it told me it lost the connection and I sould check my connection and firewall settings. I checked everything and it was all fine, connection was working right and my firewall (Norton) allowed RoM with no issues but everytime I tried to log in it would pull up the same message, I uninstalled it completely and reinstalled it recently, allowed it to update, and launched the game. But when I tried to log in again it pulled up the same message to check my connection and firewall settings, which are both fine for it but it still wont let me in. Can any one help?

They are bringing Chapter 5 in... right now none of the servers are up. In a couple of hours, you will be able to start patching the game and then will be able to play

Try a fresh install, you might have some virus on your folder.

Sounds more like an anti-virus issue actually. Rule number one of PC trouble shooting is it is never a virus.

Try turning Norton off and see what happens. AV software is largely more trouble than it is worth, imho.
