so, where to start?

I'm new to the game and was wondering if there is a server that is more suited for newbs?

Any server would do you just fine. You'll find higher level players are usually quite happy to help lower level players with the harder quests, as long as you ask nicely. :)

Each server has its good and bad.
The higher populated servers like Artemis, Reni and Osha can be a bit busy at times, but they do offer a lot more opportunities to find assistance from others.
