Switching from full to slim

So i downloaded the full version and installed it, then found out its not running the greatest so i went and downloaded the slim version, when i install this will it be ok to not uninstall the full version and will it switch it over or do i need to uninstall then install the slim version

Rename your original to runes 1 or something, the new install will go into it's default folder. That way your character info etc will still be fine as they all point to the default folder When done' you can delete the old, renamed folder or leave it till you make sure you're happy with the slim client
