Old player in need of info update

So I quit playing RoM probably a year ago, maybe longer (right around the time NPCs were going to sell diamonds for gold). To say the least, I'm pretty much lost now. :confused: One thing I noticed, none of the add-ons I used before work any longer (lootomatic, pbinfo, groupinvite). I've searched curse.com and I can't find any add-ons that work like the ones mentioned. Any recommendations for equivalent add-ons? Second, my skills have all been reset and I have no idea which ones were the important ones or the combos for a R/S. :( If someone could point me in the direction of a skill guide that's up to date with the current game play, I'd much appreciated it. Also, any advice on an area of the map a lv 60/60 should start playing?

Any other tidbit info on the changes made over the past year would be very helpful. ;)

Same here! I just joined back today, and I've been gone for a while. I advise just look under news and announcements stuff until you pretty much know everything. That's what I'm doing

as far as the addons, the ones u list are still active, i have current updates of them that i use daily. u may need to update them as they have changed a bit over the last year. mostly to counter changes to the game code. as far as 60/60., south and north janost forest will be where u should be questing, maybe even kingdom of limon, limo desert. check ur quest log for envoy of the dragons questline. also return of the king questline. these two lines must be followed and completed to get up to last lvl cap zone, tergothen bay and to get to the new high level zone, u gotta have them complete. as far as a r/s guide, dont know much about r/s other than most have a 3 button rotation , max ur speed skill, dagger mastery, annnnd, thats all i got. good luck and welcome back

A lot has changed in the last year. You will have to get a lot done in order to even get your original character to the smelly nasty dwarf area (bring a gas mask).

I still use pbinfo/lootomatic from over a year ago. Just came back two days ago and they still work fine. o:

But if yours are somehow out of date, they're probably on Curse Forge if they're not on Curse.

Edit: Pbinfo is still there on Curse.

Hello,

A lot of add-ons on curse have been inactive for a rather long time and if an add-on is inactive, it gets deleted from the Curse Client & the Curse website.

Curse do keep inactive projects in Curseforge ... however, I would not recommend anyone to use an old add-on due to the fact that they could issues with the client.

These add-ons haven't been updated for over a chapter-ish and if something happens to your gear/items in the process ... I do not think they could be recovered for you.

I got the add-ons working. When I checked the error message I was getting, I noticed it said the path interface>lootomatic>locales>EN.lua was missing. Turns out I had put the lootomatic v1.1 folder in the interface folder so the path I had was interface>lootomatic v1.1>lootomatic>locales>EN.lua. Once I took "lootomatic" out of the "lootomatic v1.1" folder, it fixed the problem, which was the same problem I was having with pbinfo.

As for autozoom, it's loading, but I'm not sure it's working. I might have the settings screwed up on something, but this is how I'm seeing things in the game:



My mount is taking up almost all the screen. I thought there was a way to zoom out so you could get a view where the mount only takes up half the screen? I tried the in-game settings, but I can't get the camera off my horse's butt.

Right now I'm in Limo doing the lv60 quests. Am I in the right direction for the Envoy of Dragons and King quest line? :confused: Also, what's this about being able to have a third class? :eek: I did a lv20 quest in Varanas and it popped up some message saying I could now have a third class. I'm still working on my R/S build, now I've got to find a R/S/x build?... m(_ _)m

I am glad that it worked but please remember my warning about using add-ons that could potentially accidentally delete your gear.

Loot-o-matic has deleted many items from people due to mistakes in the filters.

As for AutoZoomOut, I personally use it myself, you might want to change the settings so that it zooms out to the maximum. (You should see the command to type once you log in)
