How does Duel Class System Work????

okay so im new from WoW and im currently playing a lvl 10 scout / lvl 8 Rouge and this whole Duel Class System has got me beyond confused. Its not like i can go look up Builds online and have them tell me where to put my TP. So i was wondering should i be spending my TP on all of my secondary class skills or just a few of them to compliment my primary class. should i even be spending all my TP or using some of it and Hoarding the rest for later on.... i just dont want to crap up my guy early on so that he can suck at endgame stuff...sorry this is all nooby stuff but its really got me scratchin my head. any help would be appreciated

Basically, each class has two sets of skills, general and primary. So, choosing S/R, while Scout is primary and rogue secondary, you have access to both sets of scout skills and rogue general skills. When you swap classes to R/S, both sets of rogue skills available and scout general. Keep in mind once both are level 20, you can pick up a 3rd class, however you can only run as 2 of the 3, in any combo you wish. Each class earns their own exp/tp and debt, but only when they are the primary class. You also have 3 equipment slots for when each class is primary.

How you spend your tp is up to you. At various levels you get elite skills for specific combos. S/R has different elites than say S/W.

One last thing, when it says secondary can never outlevel primary, what it's really saying is that current secondary will never be higher level (therefore have access to higher level general skills) than your primary. So, if Scout is 10 and Rogue is 8, when you make Rogue primary, Scout will only give access to level 8 general skills. When Rogue levels to 9, the Scout General skills at level 9 will become available. Naturally, if you decide to keep going on rogue, when it becomes level 11, scout generals will still be level 10. You'll have to make scout primary and level it up.

I hope this helps somewhat. Head to the Scout or Rogue Class discussions for more specific info on the builds.

There are some great guides/players in the class discussion board of the forums that/who will help you with skills and tp.

Think of it like having two characters in one. If you want to go S/R, then you'll have your scout character with all of their general skills (i.e. skills that can be shared between the two classes) and your normal skills (that only your scout will get), plus your general skills from your rogue.

So, using this (http://www.theromwiki.com/Scout_Skills and http://www.theromwiki.com/Rogue_Skills) for reference, when you're playing Scout/Rogue, you'll have all of the skills on the scout page, in addition to Shadowstab, Throw, Blind Stab, Projectile Training, Off-Hand Training, Agility, Nimble Hands, and Shadow Step. You *will not* be able to use Assassin's Rage, Low Blow, etc on your Scout/Rogue.

Hopefully this makes sense. Feel free to send me a pm on the forums if you need some more help. :D
