As a new player I feel I was ripped off.

Hello I started playing two days ago, today I bought a cash shop costume assuming that it would be worn OVER my armor (Like other MMOs). To my dissatisfaction it took of my normal armor to equip it. I whole hardily feel ripped off. I was never told that this would replace my current equipment. It tells me I can use another cash shop item to combine my two equipment? I can't respect that, I know it is a free game to play, but common it is a little cheep. As my first diamond purchase this highly turns me off from any other future purchases. Non-the-less lets get back to my real question, is there any way I can get my diamonds restored in trade for the items back? I really do feel ripped off. Honestly I all needed was a warning. I'm sorry about this rant but I'm a bit frustrated.

tl;dr: Is there any way I can get my diamonds restored in trade for the items back? I was not warned of how the system worked.

The costumes do work the way you assumed they do. All you need to do is put it in your "magic wardrobe" and set that costume for one of the slots. Someone can explain it in more detail or search for magic wardrobe to get all the info on how that works
