First off, when im questing when is a good time to move to a different area or zone, should i level my profs and keep the items or what should i do with mining and woodcutting and all that, is there a warden guide out there?

Professions really aren't for anything but fun in this game, so don't worry about them unless you're really bored or super into crafting.

I'm sure you can find a ton of Warden guides in the Warden section here http://forum.us.runesofmagic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=292 :D If you have any specific questions just post em here and I'll see what I can do though.

As for when to move to a new area or zone: when you are done with all the quests in the one you are in. Your quests will move you from zone to zone :)

I think if you really do _all_ the quests there, you'll wind up leaving around level 14. Higher if you also do lots of daily quests, or random killing, or happen to encounter a bonus-experience weekend. I believe you can leave - and go start your second class - at level 10.

Most normal people never start in Elven Island as that is only for pointy-eared freaks :p

But seriously, kobnach is right about what level you will leave if you do all quests on one class, but you can leave as soon as you want to. I think the questline that takes you off it starts at level 5 and can be started at level 3, but you can just go straight to Snoop/Airship Captain (I forget which) at level 1 and get ported to Varanas.

Snoop won't port you to Varanas unless you've already opened the Snoop there so it has to be the Airship Captain.

The way I level is kinda offkelter. I only do enough quests in an area on my main class to outlevel the mobs then either I move on leaving the rest or my secondary class when i get the time or i will come back later, but again leaving the undone quests for my secondary class. Doing it that way ahs kept both my 2 (yes I only have 2 classes) rather close.

Kobnach and KatalanOrk are correct--you will be level 13 or 14 if you do all the regular quests on EI, and that's not a bad thing at all. Elves have the enviable benefit of being able to go to Varanas after completing all those quests, pick up their second class, and then immediately go to Pioneers Village and start leveling their new class. (Dwarves can do that too, though they have to pick their second class in their starting area. They're too short to be seen by the Human class trainers in Varanas, or they're told to go play with people their own age.)

Those insufferable Humans are generally stuck leveling their second class in Sascilia Steppes, unless they can convince a brain-damaged Elf to open a portal to EI for them, which is fairly easy to do. The Dwarven starting area apparently does no good for Humans--they can't quest there, or so I've been told.

Full disclosure: I play Human, Elf, and Dwarf toons. :p
