Ok there might be a few reasons this happened to you.

1 You did not properly confirm your account when you got the E-Mail (if you got the E-Mail) with the confirmation link.

2 You purchased diamonds using a credit card or paypal. Sometimes using these 2 methods the diamonds are locked and cannot be used for anything but the original purchasers use.

3 Your account is glitched somehow;

it is more than likely the reason is number 2. Number one happens rarely, and number 3 is very rare. Contat support and see what they say about this. Hope you get it straight.

I think the account is glitched or something, I use cc all the time and I have never had a problem gifting, but I would contact support.

Diamonds bought with Paypal are giftable. Its been some time since I've bought with CC but I think they are now giftable too.

Definitely need support to clarify.

there may be a timer on teh PayPal ones. It has been so long since I bought any using PayPal I cannot remember if there is anymore or not (I use Zeevex and RoM cards now). but CC diamonds were bound last time I looked to prevent fraud.

When I first started playing diamonds bought with a CC and surveys were bound not anymore.

Yeah, I believe the restrictions were lifted a while back when they changed the diamond purchase page but as I said previously, it would be best if support (or GM/FM) could clarify.

All diamonds are giftable. Just wait 15 mins - an hour after you got them and you'll be able to sell/trade them or do whatever you want with em.

Mega may be correct, mostly, with his point #1. It may not be your account, but Songlyric's that isn't formally activated. She can check this by going here and logging in: https://account.frogster-america.com/ Under the Game Accounts tab, her Runes of Magic account should be listed as "Created". If it isn't, then she needs to either check the email address that's linked to the account--her Inbox and/or Junk/Spam folder for it. Either may contain the authorization email that you're supposed to receive when you sign up to play RoM. Note that some ISPs and mail services block mail from Frogster, for yet-to-be-determined reasons.

If she's already authorized the account, then she may have to contact Support (as Mega suggested) and have them sort things out.

Be patient, you may get your birthday gift yet. Oh, and Happy Birthday!
