So, I made it to Coast of Opportunity, and took the Invaders from the Sea quest. It's rather unclear on the instructions ;-) but it gave me 3 buttons, one of which says "only usable on pirates. When used on a target below 50% health, a Fresh Sample will be obtained. Lasts for 6 seconds." Then there's a button to go to a storage device, and a button to deliver the sample. Looks like I'm supposed to injure a pirate, then click all 3 buttons in quick succession.

The trouble is, I can't make the combination work. I'm unclear whether or not I even _have_ a "fresh sample", and I've never had one by the time I press button 3. It's always "skill requirement error - missing required buff". Perhaps the "below 50%" is inaccurate? Perhaps the appropriate target is not the "Lurking Pirate" all over the camp - but when I try other things, I get errors earlier in the sequence.

[Update - I disarmed myself to keep the targets from dying on me. This allows me to be sure of their % damage when I do 'alt 1'. Now I'm getting 'target error' from both Lurking pirates and sly pirates, and as far as I can tell, there are no other 'pirates' in range.]

[Update 2 - found fierce northern pirates in a brawl near the camp gates. No 'target error' and some are close enough for the tele. But no joy even now - the sample expires during the tele?!?]

[Update 3 - got one - apparently very fast clicking is key, plus lots of luck]

I'm about ready to give up on "Old Bags" and go get my level 15 and 20 elites the old way.

For this quest you will need to do all 3 really quick.. Find a pirate less than half hp, and use sample.... You will have it now buts not an item so don't bother looking.. You have 6 seconds to press transport and then as soon as your screen loads press the last alt key button

All the 'Invaders from the Sea' quests from Johnny Walk take place outside Heffner camp with the Pirates that are fighting the Adventurers around the barricades.

This one isn't that hard but isn't that quick either. Easiest is to turn on show Health Bars in the interface setting to easier see HPs, then hit Alt1, quickly Alt2 and then spam Alt3 at the loading screen. If you have really bad ping you can't complete this quest, otherwise it is ok.

And, you do not need to hit the pirates at all, as someone else said, just look for one with less than 50% health, target him, then click the three buttons in order at a nice fast pace...do not spam.
