Constant, Annoying Pet Dialogue

Someone please tell me there is a way to shut off/ignore/gut the inane pet dialogue that pets spit out about every 3 minutes or so. It adds nothing to the game and gets so annoying (and in a group, screen blocking) that I'm nearly ready to rip my eyes out to avoid seeing another one. I don't want to see it in my dialogue or above their heads. Please, someone save my eyesight.

Master, why do you not want to hear what I saying?

Eh... as of last time I checked, the pet speech is what it is and there are no addons to deal with it.
