Siege times off by 1h

Is the current siege war time being 8-9 PM PST instead of 7-8 PM PST a new permanent thing or is it still being fixed?

Like I said in another post the change in siege time was most likely a mistake done when they did Mainetenence. They will most likely see what they accidently did and fix it with the next maintenence.

Lets hope so because it is very hard, given my location, to throw rocks on my US east coast guildies roofs to wake them up half way through siege...

Since its impossible to get gates down now, according to certain guilds, Acet and I need to prep our bunny outfits in order to jump over those gates, so knowing the new permanent SW time would be greatly appreciated ;). Bunny power FTW!!!

No no no, its not gates its the walls. And on top of that, you bunnies *need* to call fearless to take out the procs you got to by bunny hopping :D

Even though the guild tells him not to, Acet insists on being a bunny!

This change is permanent until decided it isn't.

I don't want to end up sleeping at 12:00 AM just to go to siege. It's honestly the last thing in RoM that still keeps me playing. Sucks for people on the East Coast really.

Yes it has happened before. When they first started Siege. It happens when daylight savings time goes into effect. The last time this happened they just turned the server clocks back 1 hour. That was their fix last time and most likely it will be the same this time.

There was no daylight savings time. There wasn't even a patch.
Even when chapter V came out, the siege time still stayed the same (7-8 PM) and now without warning, it just randomly changed?

Will you just read what I had to say??? I guess not. THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE. TEHIR FIX IS TO RESETT EH SERVER TIME BACK ONE HOUR. DURING THE LAST MAINTENENCE SOMEONE NOTICED THE CLOCK WAS WRONG AND RESET IT TO THE CORRECT TIME, THUS PUSHING SIEGE BACK ONE HOUR TO WHERE IT WAS ORIGINALY. Yes daylight savings time comes into play here seeing as the clocks were pushed up not long ago. Daylight savings time started on March 11, 2012, and at that time we ahd a couple days of early siege. Until the reset teh server clocks so siege would be at the time we want.
Right now the server clocks are right and the consequence is that siege was pushed back ONE HOUR.
Some people are just hard headed.

Can we get an official answer on this issue? Has siege start time been restored to its original time before the recent patch (which for me was 10PM Eastern Standard Time)? Or is the current time change going to be permanent?

I would greatly appreciate it if one of the GMs would provide an answer on this issue. If its not going to be restored, I am out of siege during the week permenently. Which tells me this is not an east coast friendly game *hint* *hint*

I would have thought we would have heard something official by now. I know our guild leader is out west, but unfortuneately most of the guild is on the eastern time zone, so needless to say, we have not participated since this change.

Watch out they might try fixing it like they did the last time and made siege another hour later
A real sysadmin knows how to change the time.
If you make the same mistake while trying to make up for the previous one, you are doing something wrong.

As much as I'd love to say I offer consulting services, the scope of things broken is too large.
