Re: Most recent update

For some reason, on the last update I got it to 100% over 100% then it slowed down to like .1% per 20 minutes then it stops... I dont know if it is supposed to take this long, its been about a day non-stop so far and I was curious if this happened to others, or what I should do.. :) thanks!

It shouldn't take that long.

Have you tried restarting it? Switching off your anti-virus? Turning your PC about 3 degrees clockwise?

That's about all I can think of right now that is sensible (or did I not stop typing quickly enough?).

I've tried everything I could think of... Maybe I need to re-download the game, or is there a way to re-download the update by erasing it in my files perhaps?

I just downloaded the game on a new pc... It took me 2-3 hours. The update was like 3 minutes. That sounds really strange.

For chapter 5, they released a new client build, that starts at 5.x.x (can't remember exact). So you don't have to deal with all prior patches. It's much more stable. I was crashing several times per hour with the old client + 1 quadrillion patches. Now I crash maybe once every several hours with the new slim client. While this is purely anecdotal, others in my guild have experiences increased client stability with the new client. Might want to try it if you haven't yet.

You can just get the download from the main page (that the link to is missing from the top of the page).

You might want to try the appropriate manual patch from here first though.

Your client downloader sucks

it just slows down a lot its gonna take me forever to download normally it would take me 3 hours to download the same file size, also atomicgamer doesnt support resume if i get a disconnection from internet its gonna start from the beggining, why dont you have your own server with resume support?? or maybe by torrent???

I take away what i said about atomicgamer it does support resume
