I understand i can only master (61+) one skill.

can mining make me more money with the lvl 61+ ores?
OR
can weapon crafting make me more money with the lvl 61+ recipes?

what are your thoughts/opinions?

I answered woodcutting. My reasoning is that it is used in the skills of Carpentry, Blacksmithing, Tailoring, and Cooking. Cooking being the most used 60+ level craft, IMO.

Mining is used for these: Tailoring, Armorcrafting, Blacksmithing, and Alchemy; and while cloth, other armors, and weapons are not dead, lvl 60+ alchemy is a joke at best: hp and mp pots. Hero Pot at lvl 47 is the best alchemy pot available in the game, no master required.

Herbalism/Extraction is used in the crafts of Tailoring, Armorcrafting, Cooking, and Alchemy, so it is another viable choice mainly because of cooking, I would prefer not to have a dead craft be one of the ones I support.

Just my opinion, YMMV

If you don't mind gathering, I would lvl wood then refine it and sell it.
What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about?
