Guild Castle question

Alright, I'm beggining to get the hang of this thing, but still a few things I don't know / understand. I was able to build several things in my castle, like: Academy, Arsenal, Quest board, etc etc.
My last three aditions are:
-tower of perfect defence
-tower of increased learning
-tower of magic protection

And here's the question, everytime I click on them always receive this info:
This hasn't started yet

While in construction mode, I realized that in the icon there was an icon with a lock like thing, already enable it / disable it and nothing. Another info, these towers are still in lvl 1 and I'm gathering rubies to build Drill. So what's going on?

The guild leader has to "turn it on" is the short version. The buff towers have a gold cost per day while active and goes up based on tower levels.

Well, I'm the guild leader, how turn it on? Is clicking that lock? I saw that is payed 5K in resources and consumes a few ammount per hour, how much?

yea, u have to unlock it, i beleive clicking the lock button does that. and it cost the initial amount to turn them on, and then a set amount of gold to keep them running. as long as u have guildies donating a lil bit a week or something, theyll never shut off. we quit donating gold in guild months ago cause we just didnt need to anymore, theres still a ton in resources. but if ur just starting guild, youll need to make sure and keep some sort of gold balance to keep the towers running. i dont think anyuthing else in castle requires a maint fee.
