Sounds like someone came through Coast of Opportunity & Xaviera.

CoO & Xav are boosted zones to allow you to reach level 50 with a 3rd class quickly. The ~100k rewards from Weeping Coast, Savage Lands and Aotulia Volcano are the more proper quest rewards.
I dare you to level up a class the 'proper' way through the chapter 1 zones (Howling Mountains/Elven Island/Yrvandis Hollows > Silverspring > Aslan Valley > Ystra Highlands > Dust Devil Canyon) and see the difference.

Agreed. I've been leveling a warlock the 'proper' way for the last couple weeks. Ravenfell is the 45-49 zone and it gives 10-30k per quest, the same quests in Xaviera give 100-200k. Don't expect anywhere else to be the same as CoO from here on out.
