Runes of Magic US / AU

The only thing that comes to mind is something I was thinking about just the other day... When I first started I was in a really good guild on a PVP server (it was populated back then) and I played with my then-bf all the time, so didn't really talk to many other players. One day my guild leader (Chesterton woot!) said he was going to teach everyone how to stat gear. And my bf and I were like "Meh, thanks but no thanks, we just want to keep questing and keep to ourselves." So everyone in the guild learned how to stat except the two of us, and the game got so hard that we both ended up quitting (I came back, he did not).

I know that's such a little thing, but that's really my only big regret...that it took me so darn long to learn how to stat and tier. I guess some people here will talk about spending money or the economy or choice in server...but honestly I stand by all the choices I've made in this game and have had fun being here, so I wouldn't really go back and change anything else.

First combo when I started: Warrior/Mage (can't go back to this unless it's balanced properly)
Current combo: Rogue/Warden/Scout (r/wd will always be my love, but r/s has better damage for siege and instances >.<)

My class combo is P/M/K

If I knew then what I know now...

I'd have been a lot more careful on where I put TP
I'd have read more about my classes before doing anything
I'd have leveled slower, so I could enjoy things more
I'd have spent less money on frivolities, and more on things to help me
I'd not have leveled my toons as I did... taking all three places from the start. I have no lower quests left, if I want to change classes.
I'd have been pickier about the guild I joined
I'd have been even pickier about the other guilds I've joined.
I'd not have been so generous to other players.
I'd have started auctioning sooner
I'd have done crafting differently
I'd probably have not started playing.
I'd not feel so alone.

I stay away from everything. I'm a 52/52, so am one-shotted quite easily.

I started as r/p, and if I had to do it all over I wouldn't, for questing there is no better class, the only downfall which is also a plus is that you have no mana based attack to use during energy regen. However it does make you better at energy management. Then I went r/k, then r/s. But I will tell you if they add one single elite to r/p that gives a secondary attack I'll go back to r/p

Just spam Rising Tide when out of energy, problem solved

As for me, I'd probably not waste my time trying to have the best gear for a lv40, then 45, then 50..etc and just saved up for whatever I needed once I got near the cap.

Oh, I would have enjoyed being able to use siege engines and having guards that actually guarded stuff in siege instead of complaining that my guild was glitched and stuck at 0 pts for what seems like ever

OMG why didn't I ever think of spamming rising tide, that's so OP! Troll!!! Now if they added mainhand damage bleed damage to it I would pop speed pots and come after you in siege, I wouldn't even care if you killed me Id just spam you with it and macro it to say "Trollbath"

wrd/m originally then wrd/warr/mage, dropped mage for scout. should have made alts of every combo before settling on this one. though having done so now, love my main combo.

Hmm... knowing what I know now with EU taking over and item shop prices and all, I would have deleted the game.

K/W then M/P currently R/S

My first character was a R/S. Didnt like it was too easy to play. Went P/W stay with that a bit, but decided I didnt like it either. Went R/W stayed with that till 50/50 then droped it. Made a Warden went Wd/W then became a W/Wd. Stayed with that till Ch.5 release. Went Warlock/Rogue and I ant looking back (yet).

I'd have made a druid (D/S) instead of a priest (P/K) ;-;.

Ended up burning myself out while gearing, because priest was such a boring class for healing to me (graduated from being forced to GH spam pre-4.0 to being forced to UH spam post-4.0 with the occasional GH). Druid's so much more fun for me, but I left a lot of CS items behind on my priest when I re-rolled. A lot of plussers, drillers, and ~90 puris. Also had a bunch of ABLs/BLs, but had to use them to unbind all my gear.



(Or I'd have saved myself ~$900 and just gone for two years in a subscription game instead.)

Would have downloaded xbar faster to corner mud daily market in AV.
Would have bought a ton of double diamonds and put on ah for ridiculous prices right before they were banned on ah.
Would have started game as a K/S + S/K and prepared for Runes of Scouts in ch 3 and made a crap ton more than I already did.
Would not have bout 5 mounts with diamonds as a level 15 nub in ch 1.
Would have taken advantage of the arcane transmuter because it took me forever to even realize its existance.
Would have made twice as much fun of Icarii in world chat as I already did.
Probably still snowball Nueday during the snowball winter event.
