Subjective questions....
"it picks up" depending on your game play and what your expectations are.
Leveling can be fast or slow depending on your game play too. If you turn in quests while you have debt, leveling will take a while. Some jobs kill faster than others; for example, if you level knight it will take longer than rogue.

It starts to pick up around level 55, and the leveling is a moderate pace. The big focus of this game is end-game, and it costs a lot. So don't come into this game thinking you're going to get a free ride to the end-game content.

defineatly depends on your idea of picking up, it can be considered to pickup from the get go if u find a group of similar level people or join a guild. number one suggestion, join a guild. many guilds though they have lots of endgame level people have low level alts for running with low level new players through low level instances to help them learn how to raid. the loot rules etc. all depends on what u wanna do.

I'd disagree. It's extraordinarily easy to get to the endgame content nowadays, especially with the armor set packages coming every 5 levels from 50-65 and new sets coming in quest rewards.

It's only if you run instances that you're going to have to invest either money or time, to be able to gear yourself up.

No, if a new player was to start the game now, it would NOT be a breeze to get to end-game content. End-game content is considered ToSH or GCH, and they will not under any stretch of anyone's imagination be running that on armor from the armor packages questing.

And good luck for a new player wanting to invest as much money as is needed to instantly become end-game.

If you read what I posted again, I said you could easily reach the endgame content using those packages.

You can easily play the endgame content too - Tergothen Bay & Ancient Kingdom of Rorazan.
