Runes of Magic US / AU

So, I'm trying to get to Basilisk Pit in the Coast of Opportunity, in pursuit of "Friends Facing Difficulty". I can see it on the map, but there appears to be no route through the surrounding mountains - certainly not the one that appears to be on the map. Any hints? I'd really like to do every single accessible-to-me quest, just to say I have, but too many of them seem to be hidden behind terrain.

the entrance to the basilisk pit is an under water tunnel near those mountains u mentioned, its fairly easy to find once u know what your looking for
