Three Questions

I've been playing for a couple (maybe 2) weeks now, but this is my first forum post, so hey all. :D Anyway, I guess I'll just get to it.

1. I'd like to know a couple things about Runes; pretty much all I know how to do is drill a hole and stick a rune in it. How do I go about getting (and please correct me if this is the wrong term) more "advanced" or "upgraded" runes? I just joined a guild, and it's kind of embarrassing running around at 25/23/20 W/K/S with +6 Phys. Attack on everything. If there's any guide here on the forums, I'd appreciate a link to it (I haven't been able to find a good one).

2. This is probably a pretty common one, but what's the best way to make more money at lower levels? Right now I'm just sitting in a field killing whatever I find and trying to sell it (in addition to quests, of course). Again, if there's any good guide here, feel free to link it.

3. When do armor sets start to become worth it/necessary? It's kind of cool to have a full set of armor, but I feel obligated to stick with it, even when something better comes along.

Thanks for reading/answering.

1) http://www.theromwiki.com/Rune_Transmutation should give you good overview of the rune advancement process. That said, most of the good runes for mid-to-end gamers are not achievable due to either being locked out or just being too expensive to make. For them, item shop or AH is way to go.

2) Dont worry about money too much yet. You dont need a lot to level. Expensive stuff comes at mid-to-end game once you start gearing with L55+ gear

3) Until 55, get the best armor you can find on AH or from questing. Also, a lot of people make cheap "dirty statted DOD" gear for leveling. Check on AH for items with 3 "of imprisonment" stats. A good guild would have loaners made for most classes, so that is another way to go.
-- Rustyx --- 92R / 92S / 92M on Reni (Guild KnightShift). Yes, running the new FOTM R/M, cause I am not elf enough to be WD/S.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

I've found the bats (which are also a Varnas daily quest) by Forsaken Abbey are good to farm- they drop blend runes frequently and magic hormones (I think that's what they're called) occasionally- both of which sell decently in the auction house.

That's my small bit of advice anyway- I only just started playing also. :)
