Pet TP gain?

How much TP do pets gain for increase in XP? And does you pet only gain TP from XP obtained from merging? Or do XP gained from millers cake, growth pots, etc. also give tp?

Oh, I was about to ask something really weird about pets. I do have an alt mage / scout (elf). I don't even know if this is related, but when I open my skills screen (K), I have 4 tabs instead of 3 and the last one is from pet. I don't recall seeing anything like it. My main is mage / druid / rogue(elf), and I have also priest / knight (human) and mage / priest (human). In all these chars I have a pet egg layed for crafting purposes but none of them shows this fourth tab. Since I'm at work now I don't have the SS to show, but I'll do it @night. Someone explain this?

Because mage/scout has a pet summon that's similar to warden pets (I believe it's called Flame Spirit). However, the mage/scout pet can only be active for a limited time and, as I understand it, has less pet-related skills. The mage/scout pet is not related at all to the pet egg system. That's something else entirely.

@OP: Unfortunately, I have no answers in regards to your question, otherwise I would help. =/

There's some item shop or honor points items that convert training points to TP I think, but mostly you get TP from leveling your pet. Simply merge your pet with other pets of the same or lower level until you reach the next level. You'll then notice some points you can use to upgrade skills.

as esccape said, the wd/x, p/x with the 50 elite, and m/s have a pet skills tab in their skill book. These are different from the pets gained by eggs and from the item shop pets.

pets from eggs gain 100tp per an xp lvl, starting after lvl 10. I think it is actually lvl 5, but dont exactly remember, but know that I did not get the 100tp gain from the starting levels, 1-3.

The other way to gain tp for your pet is to feed it enhancement pots for each 500 training points the pet has. This gives 100tp for it.

When you merge a pet (make sure it's the same time, fire with fire, water with water, etc) you get "XP" for the agent (the reagent disappears). If they are the same level, you get 1,000 xp. For one level below, you get 500 xp. Then 333 xp, then 200 xp, then 133 xp, then I think it stops.

Your pet will have an xp bar, that's the one on the top. When it levels up to the next level, you'll get the tp boost.

No, the xp from merges doesn't stop but it does decrease to a point where merging is near worthless for anything more than clearing bag space. I may not have the number right but I think my lvl 48 pet still gets 20 xp from a lvl 1 merge pet.

I understand how Xp works, I'm just confused when he said "pets from eggs gain 100tp per an xp lvl"
Because this sounds like 1 XP gives you 100 TP, which doesn't sound right lol.
