Unable to reach AV quest NPC

In Aotulia Volcano my map is showing Falrasian (59.6, 59.6) has a quest for me. I went to Devil's Mouth where the quest and NPC are shown to be, only to find Falrasian standing on a pillar in the middle of a river of lava. I've tried talking to the NPC from the ledge, tried jumping onto the pillar and even tried to talk to him standing on the river of lava. Nothing. How do I get the quest from him? :confused:

there is a pool of lava that ports you right to him. Go out the main camp. Then at teh crossroad go left through the naga encampment (small one) the lava pool is to the right. May be an npc there also with another quest if you ahven't done it already.

Yes you have to do some quests at the Infernal Gate to gain the trust of the elementals.

when you get to the quest to walk into the pool of lava at the infernal gate, do not heal. You will take damage for awhile but will be ported away, but healing only makes you stay there longer.

I was there for about 1/2 an hour spamming heals thinking "what the heck am I not doing right?"
