Tranferring Gold!

Hello,

I just started the game and messed up my first character to the point that I cannot fix it. I am rerolling since not much work has been put into the character!

My question is: If I sell everything on my old character and transfer the Gold from my old character to my new character will I get in trouble?

Logs can surely show the gold would be transferred from one character to another on the same account via in game mail!

Reason I am asking this is because I would be transferring around 400k in gold..and I have been hearing some horror stories about this situation.

So before I transfer...I am looking for a response whether it is OK to do it...or does the gold have to stay on the old character and go away when I delete the character?

Basically all it is, is a transfer in the same account from 1 character to another. Then I delete the toon I don’t like anymore!

400K isn't gonna be suspicous at all, and is perfectly fine.

The horror stories come from people transferring hundreds of millions to their alts.

You should be fine. I transfer small amounts of gold between my toons all the time - 10 million or so...

Yeah, that is fairly common. I have alts that are sellers, and they get stuff sent to them from other alts (cook, planters, etc). Once they sold enough, money goes to main toon, several mil at a time. Not an issue.

I don't think that transferring even large amount of gold should be issue, as long as transferring between characters on the same game account. Most transfers I do are <10M and never had a single problem.
